9 eggs
1-1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs. Boil sugar and water until it spins a thread. Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour hot syrup over egg whites gradually, while beating continually. When cool, add beaten egg yolks. Sift flour, salt and cream of tartar. Add flavoring to egg mixture. Fold in flour by hand. Bake in an ungreased pan in 350 oven.
