You can use a jar of good hot fudge sauce or you can make the following great sauce from scratch.
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 lb. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix powdered sugar, evaporated milk, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butter. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and let cool. Crush Oreo cookies and add 1/2 c. melted butter to crumbs. Spread Oreo mixture in 9x13" pan. Put in refrigerator to set crumbs. Put sliced ice cream on crumbs and cover ice cream with cooled chocolate sauce.Top with Spanish peanuts. Freeze.
