3 large cans French Style seasoned green beans
1 stick butter or margarine
1 small can mushrooms
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Crackers or Durkee onions
bell pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, melt butter. Stir in flour. Add onions (and bell pepper if desired). Saute. Stir in milk. Simmer until thick, stirring constantly. Add Velveeta and stir until melted. Drain beans & mushrooms and put in casserole dish. Pour sauce over beans and mix. Add cracker crumbs or Durkee onions on top. Bake 1 hour at 350.
