Mix butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Add vanilla. Chill dough one hour. Roll dough in floured hands to desired size of pizza pan. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 325º for 8-10 minutes.
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 pint fresh strawberries,halved
(can be whole frozen strawberries)
1 (1lb) can sliced peaches, drained
1 (4 1/2 oz) pkg. whipped topping (Cool Whip does best)
2 to 3 fresh bananas, sliced
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapples, drained
Blend cream cream cheese with shipped topping. Spread over cooled crust.
Arrange strawberries around edge of crust. Place banana slices in circle next to strawberries, overlapping slightly. Place peaches in a circle next to bananas. (You can add a few kiwi slices) Mound pineapple in center. Place several strawberry halves on pineapple mound. Spoon orange sauce over fruit.
1/2 c sugar
dash of salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c orange juice (not concentrate)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 c water
Stir together sugar, salt and cornstarch in small pot. Gradually stir in orange juice, lemon juice and water over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Cool. Spoon over fruit.
