Romaine lettuce
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Purple onion, thinly sliced

Dressing:
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup oil
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 small onion, finely chopped
Slivered almonds toasted, if disired

Directions:
Directions:
In blender blend the dressing ingredients together. Remove and chill overnight. Stir occassionally to dissolve sugar.



When ready to serve, toss the dressing with the lettuce strawberries and onion. (use dressing to your taste, may not need all of it)

Place in a chilled glass salad bowl. Serve immediately.
