Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

Cookie Crust:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup margarine, cold and cut in pieces
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

4 eggs
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan with cooking spray.

Cookie Crust: In a large bowl, beat Cookie Crust ingredients until mixture is in fine crumbs. Press in pan. Bake at 350 for 20 to 23 minutes.

Topping: Combine egg, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Immediately pour over hot crust. Bake 25 minutes. Cool completely.
