2 1/3 c. Sugar
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs whites
1/2 c. pecans,
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan combine 1st 4 ingredients, stirring well over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cover pan bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove cover place candy thermometer in pan. Cook gently with out stirring to 265. Beat egg whites until stiff. then slowly pour syrup over whites. Beat until it loses its gloss, add vanilla and nuts.
