Crust: 2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
milk


1 c. corn flakes



6 c. apples
1 1/4 c. sugar
cinnamon
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, sugar, shortening together. Put 2 egg yolks in a 1 cup glass measuring cup and add milk to make 2/3 cup. Beat with fork and add to other ingredients. Roll out half and place on greased jelly roll pan. Place the corn flakes on bottom crust. Add the apples, sugar, sprinkle of cinnamon and salt. Cover with top pastry. Brush with egg whites and sprinkle some sugar on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
