1/2 c butter
1/3 c light cream or evaporated milk
1 c light brown sugar
2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp maple extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Add brown sugar and stir until smooth. Over low heat bring to a boil stirring. Boil one minute. Remove from heat. Add cream over low heat and return to just boiling. Remove from heat and let cool to 110. With electric mixer on medium speed beat in 2 cups powdered sugar until frosting is thick. Add vanilla and maple flavoring. Set in cool water and beat until frosting is thick enough to spread.
