3 lbs sugar
1 qt glucose
3 pt heavy cream
1 pt evaporated mild
3 oz butter
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, cream, syrup and salt to 230. Remove thermometer add butter in small pieces and evaporated milk so temperature will not be lowered. Stir constantly continue to cook until thick and heavy. Test in cold water for stiff bend. Pour into greased pan. Let stand several hours before cutting.
