1/2 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 t. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, salt, butter, and add vanilla. Add flour a little at a time. Make into balls and make an indentation with your thumb. Put some apricot preserves in the indentation and place a pecan half over it. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Check them often.
