1 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 egg
1 t salt
1 1/2 t sugar
1 t garlic salt
1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare meat for fingers or bit-sized pieces as desired. If using less tender steak, pound before cutting.

Beat until smooth, place prepared steaks into batter. Allow to marinate at least 1 hour. Deep fat fry until golden brown or until desired doneness. This batter makes good onion rings, too.
