1 pkg dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
4 T. melted oleo or butter
1/4 c. mashed potatoes or 3 T. instant potato flakes
2 beaten eggs
Flour, 3 or more cups

Directions:
Disolve 1 pkg. dry yeast in 1 tsp. sugar and 1/2 c. warm water. Set aside 10 min. in 2 c. measurer. Scald or heat 1/2 c. milk in microwave. Add 1/2 c. sugar and cool. Add 3/4 tsp. salt, 4 T. melted oleo, potatoes and eggs. Mix in 1/2 c. flour in bowl with yeast. Slowly add rest of flour, about 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 c. and all other ingredients. Mix well. Grease top of dough and cover. Set aside to rise until doubled. Approx. 1 hour. Pince off small ball, depending on size wanted. Roll in smooth ball and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet & grease ball. Let rise 1/2 hour. Make indention in center of each ball with fingers, preading out a little. Fill with favorite fruit filling. Let rise again about 10 minutes. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 min. on center rack until brown.
