2 lbs. shrimp, peeled, and deveined
2 packages frozen sliced okra
2/3 c. oil (could use less)
1 1/3 c.choppped green onions and tops
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 t. salt
1 t. pepper
4 c. hot water
2 c. canned tomatoes
4 whole bay leaves
some sliced polish sausage
oysters (add at the very end)

Sauté okra in oil 10 minutes or till okra appears dry, stirring constantly. Add onions, garlic, salt, pepper and shrimp. Cook 5 minutes. Add water, tomatoes and bay leaves. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Serve over white rice.

Add few drops of tabasco sauce before eating it.
