Filling
Blend with wooden spoon:
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips fold in and set
aside

Batter:
Combine dry ingredients and mix well:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add:
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup water

Fill cupcake papers about 3/4 full with the batter.

Drop 1 heaping tablespoon of the cream cheese filling into the center of each.

Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.
