7 cups cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 tsp. salt
2 cups white sugar
1 cup diced or sliced sweet onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

1 tsp garlic flakes or powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Add cucumber and salt to water so that it covers the cucumbers, let sit 1 hour. Do not drain mixture and follow by adding the sugar, onions, bell pepper, cider vinegar and celery seed. Mix well, cover and refrigerate.

I also add some Watkins pickling spice to it for extra flavor.
