10 slices of stale bread
2 cans of evaporated milk
16 oz can of crushed pineapple
6 egg yolks
2 cups sugar
1/2 stick of margarine
4 teaspoons of vanilla

Meringue:
6 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Save 1/4 cup of pineapple juice. Beat egg yolks. Add sugar, milk, pineapples, margarine and vanilla. Tear bread in small pieces. Add to liquid mixture. Mix well. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 400 for 45 minutes.

Meringue: Beat egg whites until stiff. Slowly add sugar and pineapple juice. Spread over pudding and return to the oven until brown.
