1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
6 pita pockets, warmed
1 container feta cheese
cucumber, tomatoes and onions, sliced

Yogurt Sauce:
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cucumber, peeled and grated
2 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

For gyro meat, mix together ground beef, mint, oregano, salt and pepper. Form into small patties, one inch thick. Broil for three minutes per side.

To put together. Arrange two small patties down the center of each pita. Add tomato, cucumber and onion slices. Top with yogurt sauce.
