1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lbs. (up to 3 1/2 lbs.) cut up whole chicken

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Melt butter in 13 x 9 inch pan in oven. In shallow dish mix flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Coat chicken with mixture. Place chicken, skin side down, in pan. Bake uncovered 30 min.

Turn chicken; bake 30 min. longer or until juice is clear when thickest part is cut to bone.

To make lighter...remove skin from chicken and do not melt butter in pan; spray pan with cooking spray instead. Bake 30 minutes. Turn chicken and drizzle 2 Tbsp. butter over chicken. Continue baking.
