2 c. sugar
2 c. butter
3 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
5-6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Adds eggs. Mix in salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Gradually stir in flour. Save last cup of flour for rolling out. Refrigerate dough before rolling out. Start with a baseball size handful of dough when rolling out. Bake at 375 for about 7 minutes.

Make sure there is enough flour down so they don't stick when you cut them out. They also brown quickly so keep an eye on them. We use a powder sugar frosting on them. Yum!
