1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk, plus 1 tbsp.
1 1/2 cups apples chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredient together. Beat egg and milk. Pour into dry ingredients. Stir until batter is smooth. Pare apples and dice or slice very thin. Add apples to the batter and blend together, drop by spoonfuls into hot fat. Fry until a golden brown on all sides.
