2/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
5 eggs, separated
2/3 c. whipped cream
1 angel food cake

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla, lemon juice, lemon rind and mix well. Add egg yolks 1 at a time. Beat well after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Cut cake into 16 slices. Arrange 8 slices in a 9 x 13 pan. Spread 1/2 of filling over slices. Add the rest of the slices and the rest of the filling. Freeze at once.
