1/3 c. margarine 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. shredded coconut
Melt butter in pan. Add sugar and mix well. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and blend with creamed mixture. Stir in coconut. Pour batter in 8 x 8 greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and then cut.
