2 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk or soured milk

Directions:
Directions:
Blend 1/3 c. shortening in dry ingredients.Pour 1c.
buttermilk in center of dry ingredients and quickly blend. Toss dough on floured surface. Roll out 1/2" thick. Cut biscuits and bake at 450 -- 15 min.
