3 tart apples, large
1 lb. sauerkraut
1 tbsp. caraway seeds
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
8 hot dogs

Directions:
Directions:
Take apples and pare, core, and slice them into a casserole dish.
Place the sauerkraut and the other ingredients (not including the hot dogs) over the apples.
Bring to a boil and reduce the heat.
Simmer on the stove 15-20 minutes.
Place hot dogs on top of the sauerkraut and cook 10 minutes longer.
