1 (3 oz.) package softened cream cheese
3 T. butter, melted and divided
2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 T. milk
1 T. chopped chives or onion
1 (2 oz.) jar pimientos or same small amount of roasted red pepper
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 T. butter until smooth. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives and pimiento, mixing well. Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup poultry mixture into center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners to top, twist slightly and seal edges. Brush top with remaining butter. Dip in croutons (if desired) and bake for 20 -25 minutes or until golden brown.
