3 large potatoes peeled & diced
1 large carton half & half
1 pack of precooked bacon or bacon bits
1 pack of shredded cheddar cheese
6 shallots (3 for topping & 3 for in soup)
1 tub onion seasoning mix
1 stick of butter
1 capful of liquid crab boil
Tony's to taste
1 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pot, & saute onion mix till limp. Add half & half, 1/2 pack crumbled bacon, potatoes, 3 cut up shallots, Tony's, garlic powder, & 1/2 pack of shredded cheese. Boil until potatoes are cooked stirring frequently mashing potatoes along side of pot. You may need to add more regular milk if too thick. Serve individually in a soup bowl & top with shredded cheese, shallots, & bacon bits. Some people like a drop of sour cream on theirs.
