1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sifted flour

Directions:
Combine water, shortening and salt, bring to boil. Add flour to hot mixture. Cook over low flame, stirring occasionally until mixture forms a soft ball and clings to the spoon. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven (450) for 15 minutes and then reduce heat to 235 and bake for 15 minutes longer. Let cool. Make small slit in side and fill with your favorite prepared filling.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I like to use sugar-free vanilla jello pudding for filling, so that diabetics can enjoy also.
