2 cup cooked rice
1 7 oz. Can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. Butter or bacon fat
1 medium onion diced
1 lb. ground beef browned or fried bacon

Directions:
Directions:

Cut the large cabbage leaves in smaller sizes. Take
The cabbage leaf and put a generous spoonful of
filling on the leaf and roll the cabbage leaf tightly.
Place in a casserole dish, sprinkle each layer with salt, melted butter or bacon fat, tomato sauce and a little water.

1 large cabbage head
Core the cabbage and place in boiling water with
core side down.
Boil cabbage until tender, cool and remove the leaves carefully. Cut off the hard center rib on each leaf.

Cover and bake at 350 for two hours.
Uncover for the last 30 minutes.

**Note: You can make these ahead and freeze.
