1 lb beef stew meat (venison is the best)
1 medium onion, diced fine
1 small green pepper, diced fine
1 c beef broth
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 (16 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 can old fashioned vegetable soup
2 soup cans water
1/4-1/3 cup water - red wine (deglaze)
1 tbsp worcestershire
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp+ olive oil
2 tbsp butter
dab Crisco
1 c egg noodles

Brown meat in olive oil - deglaze pan with wine. Saute onion, green pepper, garlic, parsley in butter and crisco. Add to meat. Add remaining ingredients, except noodles. Bring to soft boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add noodles and simmer until noodles are done, approx. 10 minutes.
