Shrimp and Corn Soup Recipe

2 lbs shrimp
2-3 cans whole kernel corn
1 can cream style corn
1 can diced tomatoes
4 medium potatoes diced
1 onion
1/2 cup bell pepper
1/4 cup celery
1/2 cup shallot
parsley (optional)

Make a light roux
Add onions, celery, and bell pepper- cook until tender
Add shrimp-cook and season.
Add corn and tomatoes, cook for 15 minutes
Add water to desired consistency and bring to a boil.
Add potatoes, parsley, and shallots
Add ketchup to color and cook until potatoes are ready.
