3-4 lb roast 1 sliced onion 1/4 C ketchup 2 T brown sugar 1 clove of garlic or more 1 can/bottle of beer - any flavor, make it interesting. 2 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Season roast with salt and pepper. Cover with onions. Combine ketchup, sugar, garlic, and beer. Pour over roast. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 3 1/2 hours Garvy - combine flour with 1/2 C water. Mix into the drippings.

This came from my Mom. We used to have this at home and our kids grew up on it too. That may explain a few things !
