2 lbs ground beef
1/2 c diced onions
Garlic powder to taste
12 oz tomato paste
Large can stewed tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
other spices to taste
8 oz lasagna noodles
16 oz mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and onions. Add garlic, tomato paste, tomatoes, and seasonings. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Layer 1/4 meat mixture in 13 X 9 pan; layer of noodles, 1/4 meat mixture, cheese, noodles, 1/4 meat mixture, cheese, noodles, 1/4 meat mixture, cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 min.

I got this recipe from Grandma Lodenstein. Our family likes it because it does not have ricotta cheese.
