1 Liter Grappa or Vodka (100 Proof),
10 Big Organic Lemons (Thick Skinned),
1.5 Liter Filtered Water,
4 Cups Sugar (or less if prefer less sweet)

Directions:
Directions:
Place alcohol and zest 10 lemons into a bowl. Put in sealed jar for 20 days in a cool dark place. Preferably a glass jar with a rubber seal.

After 20 days place the water in a pan and bring to a boil, stir in the sugar, remove from the heat then add reserve alcohol with lemon zest, strain and bottle. Place the bottles in a cool dark place for about 40 days. After 40 days place in the freezer and serve in cold glass for an after dinner drink. Also good over sorbert.

* Make a double batch - last 5 to 6 years.

* Can use plastic wrap between rubber seal & alcohol.
