6 pork chops
1 cup uncooked rice
1 envelope onion soup mix
8 oz. can mushrooms
1 small jar diced pimiento

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chops. Spread rice in bottom of rectangular baking dish. Reserve 1 T of seasonings from soup mix and sprinkle remaining seasonings and bits of onion over rice. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid and distribute mushrooms and pour over rice. Add hot water to reserved mushroom liquid to total 3 cups and pour over rice. Arrange browned chops on top of mixture and sprinkle with reserved seasoing. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 until just tender. Remove foil and continue cooking for 10 minutes longer, or until excess liquid evaporates.
