3/4 c sugar
1/2 c butter or shortening
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 c plus 2 tbsp flour
1 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Cream together sugar, shortening, saltt, baking powder, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Fold in flour. Add chocolate chips, stirring just enough to mix in.
Spoon or scoop in spoon size balls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 0 12 minutes.
