1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 cups pecan, halves
2 tsp butter rum extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large skillet on a medium heat. Turn and stir pecans until all are well. Once wet stir gently until liquid bubbles. Once bubbling stir constatnly. Don't heap pecans in center of skillet. One layer of pecans in bottom of skillet is correct. When sugar begins to crystallize on pecans and liquid is gone, pour onto buttered wax paper and separate. Pecans may be stored in tins when cool.
