1-1/4 c. sugar
1 cn milk & 1-1/2 raw milk
1 t. vanilla flavoring
4 lg eggs, separated
1 c. coconut
4 T. self-rising flour or cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour together (well). Beat in egg yolks with milk gradually. Add vanilla and coconut. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture has thickened. Pour in 2 baked pie shells. Add 1/4 t. of cream of tartar and 4 t. sugar to the 4 egg whites. Beat until stiff. Place on top pies. Sprinkle with coconut and bake until meringue is browned in moderately hot oven.
