2 sticks butter (no subs)
5 eggs
2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 T. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar and eggs. Beat on high speed 5 minutes. Reduce speed to lowest. Add combined flours and milk alternately. Bake in four or five layers at 350 for 25-30 minutes. This is a good basic recipe. Use your favorite frosting.
