1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond flavoring
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 can cherry pie filling


Glaze
1 cup powered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
2 Tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the shortening and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, almond flavoring, flour, and salt. Spread 3/4 of the batter on a greased jelly roll pan. Spread cherry pie filling over batter. Dot with remaining batter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool for 15 miutes. Drizzle with glaze.
