1 package plus 11 cookies - Oreos (any Flavor)
8 oz block cream cheese softened
1 large bag chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
Optional: Colored sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put oreo cookies in food processor and process to fine consistancy. Mix oreos with the sofened cream cheese. Line a baking sheet with wax paper. drop oreo mixture by the tsp onto wax paper in mounds. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes or until firm. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler use a fork to dip the oreo mounds one at a time in the melted chocolate placing each back on the wax paper. Optional sprinkle the chocolate mounds with color sugar (red and green for x-mas, etc.) place baking sheet in the fridge until cool then remove from wax paper into an airtight container or Ziploc baggie. Store in the fridge until ready to serve

I use the semi sweet chocolate chips to reduce the sweetness otherwise the balls are almost too sweet. Use the 1/3rd reduced fat cream cheese if desired. I use mint or peanut butter oreos depending on what I can find for a different flavor.
