1/2 c. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla3 oz. bittersweet chocolate
11/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. powdered intstant expresso coffee
1/2 c. milk
2 egg white
1/2 c. milk
whipped cream or ice-cream

Directions:
Directions:
Beat melted butter and sugar well. Addf 2 egg yolks, vanilla, and melted chocolate; beat until smooth. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, and coffee together and add to mixture alternately with 1/2 c. milk. Beat in 2 egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. Bake in hot waffle iron. Serve with flavored whipped cream or ice cream.
