1 stick butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup water
Fresh or bottled peaches

Directions:
Directions:
Place drained fruit in bottom of 9x13 pan. Mix batter by combining butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Nuke topping, 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water, long enough to melt sugar. Pour over batter. Bake 350 for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream or cool whip...or nothing.
