1 1/2 c elbow macaroni
3 T butter
3 T flour
2 c milk
1/2 t salt
dash of pepper
2 c shredded sharp cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions.
Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk in a 1 1/2 quart oven proof bowl using the microwave. (Warm milk in microwave first, in a 2 cup container, then melt butter in bowl, add flour and cook 30 seconds. Slowly add the warmed milk, blending until all the milk is in and there are no lumps of flour. Microwave a minute a time, stirring between each cooking until the sauce is thickened about 7 minutes) Add the cheese, salt and pepper, stirring to blend. Add the cooked macaroni. Bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes until bubbly and browned.
