3 strips of bacon
1 small onion, chopped
2 T vinegar
2 T water
1 T sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
4 - 6 c leaf lettuce mixed with spinach leaves

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Set aside. Pour off most of the grease. Add onion and cook until lightly browned. Add vinegar, water, sugar, salt & pepper. Heat and pour over greens. Cover with lid so greens wilt. Sprinkle with bacon crumbles.
