1 64 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tiny cans of tomato paste
2 handfuls of Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
handful of Italian seasoning ( 1/4 cup)
handful of sugar (1/4 cup)
1 cup of water
1-2 pounds hamburger
1 medium onion
garlic to taste
some fennel seeds
salt and pepper according to taste
sprinkle some oregano

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot (I use a crock pot) combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, sugar and water. While this is simmering; brown together:
hamburger, onion, garlic, sprinkle on some fennel seeds, salt, pepper and oregano. Add to tomato sauce mixture and let simmer for a while.

This recipe makes a lot, but you can divide into smaller portions and put in the freezer for a quick dinner later on. It is also makes great lasagnas.
