1 lb pecan or walnut halves
1 cup sugar
scant 1/2 tsp salt
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg white until frothy. Add sugar and salt and mix. Add nuts and mix. Spread coated nuts on foil-lined cookie sheet and bake at 300 for 30 min. Let cool completely and store in airtight container.

These nuts are a delicious treat just to munch on, but I make them to add to green salads for a "gourmet" touch.
