2 1/2 C. SIFTED CAKE FLOUR
1 2/3 C. SUGAR
1 1/4 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1 1/4 TSP. BAKING SODA
1 TSP. SALT

ADD:
2/3 C. SHORTENING
1/3 C. BUTTERMILK
1 1/4 C. CHOPPED BANANAS

BEAT 2 MINUTES AND ADD:
1/3 C. BUTTERMILK
1/3 C. UNBEATEN EGGS (2 LARGE)

Directions:

BEAT 2 MORE MINUTES AND FOLD IN 2/3 C. CHOPPED NUTS. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PANS. (2 ROUND LAYERS 9 X 11/2 IN.) BAKE AT 350 OVEN 30-35 MINUTES. FILL LAYER AND FROST WITH YOUR FAVORITE FROSTING.
