8-10 TART APPLES-IDA REDS
1 TSP. LEMON JUICE
1/2 C. SUGAR
1/2 TSP. NUTMEG
1 TBSP. BUTTER
1/3 C. BUTTER
3/4 C. LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
3/4 C. SIFTED FLOUR

Directions:
PLACE APPLES IN SHELL, SPRINKLE WITH LEMON JUICE, SUGAR AND NUTMEG. DOT WITH 1 TBSP. BUTTER. CREAM BUTTER UNTIL SOFT. BLEND IN BROWN SUGAR AND FLOUR. SPRINKLE CRUMBS OVER TOP AND BAKE AT 425 FOR 10 MINUTES AND THEN 350 FOR 45-50 MINUTES.
