"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Personal Notes:
When Tony and I first met he wanted to make tacos for dinner. I told him that I didn't really like tacos that much and he said "We'll you've never had my tacos". So, we made them and he was right, I'd never had tacos like this before. I grew up on boxed Ortega tacos which are nothing like these authentic Mexican Tacos. These tacos are delicious and although they are a lot of work, Tony and I have a great time making them together.
